I am a BIOLOGIST by formal training and still greatly enjoy my biological pursuits. Specifically, I attended AUBURN UNIVERSITY from the fall of 1971 to the fall of 1978. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in ZOOLOGY in the winter of 1974 and entered graduate school at that time. I studied HERPETOLOGY in graduate school.
I conducted radiotelemetry studies of two species of softshell turtles for about a year before switching to a study of the reproductive ecology and development of chorus frogs. I received a Master's Degree in the spring of 1978. My real interest now is in WILDFLOWERS. I am also crazy about the DESERTS of the American west and travel there as frequently as I can. Hope you enjoy some of the stuff pertaining to these pursuits on this page.
