Yes, I drew this!
History:

I bought an Old Town Discovery 158 in the summer of 1999 after years of aching for my own canoe. It was the best money I ever spent! Nothing beats paddling downstream on a hot day watching the world go by with a cold beer in your hand. As a biologist, it's hard to think of a better way to get into some wild, out of the way places than in a sturdy canoe. I've watched a wild mink eating a fish on the Elk River in Tennessee, a peregrine falcon chasing ravens and kestrels on the Rio Grande in Texas, and I've seen some wildflower places like Hargrove Shoals on the Cahaba River of Alabama that are hard to believe. In the summer of 2002 I bought my second canoe - a Mohawk Solo 14. It's lighter and faster than my Old Town, but can't carry as much. Check out some of the links on this page for a few relaxing minutes!
